• Full of spyware

  Couldnt get past the spyware, unwanted toolbars, ...

  Cons

  Install was full of spyware and virus - I use to trust download.com to provide safer downloads. Apparently that is not the case anymore. Very disappointed.

  Pros

  I like the GUI and use it when I need a quick and simple copy job. It set up the basic switches and visually runs the job. It shows me the progress, errors and what I need to fix.

  Cons

  Had to look for the config file to create a scheduled task, a save as button would help. On more complicated jobs, more switches, call for more knowledge.

  Summary

  I like it, I use it but when I need more complicated config I use Notepad.

  Second time I opened it, the app crashed with an un-handled exception, "Access to the registry key .... denied."

  Summary

  Maybe too simple. Doesn't have selections for a lot of features that are common to robocopy, even though there is an "other" edit box that allows free-form entry of features not listed in the UI. But then if you are entering these options free-form (like you would at the command line), you have to ask yourself, "Why am I using a UI?" This is a good concept and a good start, but it needs work: better error handling (like try/catch, dude), detection of the available features of robocopy on the machine it's running on, use of registry areas that you actually have write access to, and wizards.
